This quilt is going to a brand new babe. The top is composed mostly of cotton shirt parts that feature dots, soft stripes, and nubbins left behind after buttons were removed. It is backed with a super soft cotton batiste. The binding is the narrowest I have ever made, created with linen from a well worn shirt of the faintest blush color. The diagonal quilting pattern is stitched with two colors of perle cotton. It is a the only one of its kind made for a one of a kind human. I hope it brings quiet joy to her and her parents for many years.
